I've decided to break down and mount my CB and can't decide where to mount it. Any suggestions? I was thinking on the side of the console but it seems like it would be in the way there. I also thought of mounting it on top of the dash, in the little tray that just collects dust.

Mount it to the back of the console, keeps it out of the way and out of view.

I have an SE and the console doesn't extend behind the gearshift and parking brake. I tested it on top of the dash in the little tray. The bracket holds it up enough that the speaker projects well and it is low enough not to be distracting.
