the NAPA (Wix) filter is supposed to be like the Cadillac of filters. atleast this is what they told me when i started working there. ive been impressed since i saw the inside of one compared to a fram. not to knock anybody that uses a fram, but ill never use one again.

also the the older ford v-8s use the 1515 which has a standard theard. where as the newer ford v-8 like in the crown vic use a 1372 that has a metric thread. if that helps you any.

I have recently read that Fram's antidrainback valve is very faulty making engine to start dry causing lifter noise at start up.
